[Release] Industrial Visit PT. Datascrip – Modern Technology for Smart Industry Information System Study Program Serpong Campus

September 19th, 2025 – The Alumni & Career Center Department, in collaboration with the Information Systems Study Program at Bunda Mulia University (UBM) Serpong Campus, organized an industrial visit to PT Datascrip. PT Datascrip is a retail company specializing in the marketing and distribution of machines, digital devices, furniture, surveying instruments, stationery, and various systems that support business and office needs.

The program began with a welcoming speech and a company profile presentation delivered by Ms. Sista from the Human Resources Division of PT Datascrip. This was followed by a session led by Ms. Gladis Dwiyanti Ependi, Assistant Marketing Manager, who introduced the DatascripMall.ID platform and elaborated on its technological aspects, including the development process, system security, user experience, and upcoming technologies to be implemented.

In the next session, Mr. Teguh Fajar, System Development Manager, delivered a presentation on system development, covering the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud Computing, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). The interactive session encouraged students to actively participate in discussions and gain deeper insights into the real-world application of digital technologies in business practices.

To conclude the presentations, Ms. Merryana Lestari, a lecturer from the Information Systems Study Program, presented a token of appreciation to Ms. Rosita on behalf of PT Datascrip. The program then continued with an office tour, allowing students to observe the company’s work environment and product development more closely.

Through this program, students gained valuable exposure to the application of advanced technologies within the industrial sector. Insights into integrated systems, artificial intelligence, and other digital innovations enriched their academic perspectives while strengthening their professional readiness to navigate the evolution of technology-driven smart industries.

Jakarta, 19 September 2025 – Departemen Alumni & Career Center bekerja sama dengan Program Studi Sistem Informasi Kampus Serpong Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) menyelenggarakan kunjungan industri ke PT Datascrip. PT Datascrip merupakan perusahaan ritel yang bergerak dalam bidang pemasaran dan distribusi mesin, perangkat digital, furnitur, alat survei, alat tulis, serta berbagai sistem pendukung kebutuhan bisnis dan perkantoran.

Kegiatan diawali dengan sambutan serta pemaparan profil perusahaan oleh Ibu Sista dari Divisi Human Resources PT Datascrip. Acara kemudian dilanjutkan dengan sesi bersama Ibu Gladis Dwiyanti Ependi, Assistant Marketing Manager, yang memperkenalkan platform DatascripMall.ID serta menjelaskan aspek teknologinya, meliputi development process, keamanan sistem, user experience, hingga teknologi terkini yang akan diimplementasikan.

Pada sesi berikutnya, Bapak Teguh Fajar, System Development Manager, menyampaikan materi mengenai system development, mencakup implementasi Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud Computing, dan Robotic Process Automation (RPA). Sesi interaktif ini mendorong mahasiswa untuk aktif berdiskusi dan memperoleh pemahaman lebih mendalam mengenai penerapan nyata teknologi digital dalam praktik bisnis.

Sebagai penutup sesi presentasi, Ibu Merryana Lestari, dosen Program Studi Sistem Informasi, menyerahkan tanda penghargaan kepada Ibu Dian sebagai perwakilan PT Datascrip. Program kemudian dilanjutkan dengan office tour, yang memberikan kesempatan bagi mahasiswa untuk mengamati lebih dekat lingkungan kerja serta pengembangan produk perusahaan.

Melalui kegiatan ini mahasiswa mendapatkan wawasan berharga mengenai penerapan teknologi mutakhir dalam sektor industri. Pemaparan mengenai sistem terintegrasi, kecerdasan buatan, serta inovasi digital lainnya memperkaya perspektif akademik sekaligus memperkuat kesiapan profesional mahasiswa dalam menghadapi perkembangan industri cerdas berbasis teknologi.
