[Release] Digital Business Guest Lecture with Marlin Silviana: “Innovation in the Digital Age: Adapting to New Trends in Marketing and SEO”

Wednesday, April 22nd, 2026 – The Digital Business Study Program at Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) successfully organized a public lecture titled “Innovation in the Digital Age: Adapting to New Trends in Marketing and SEO.” The event took place at the UBM Ancol Campus and featured Marlin Silviana, Head of Marketing Technology at PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk, as the keynote speaker.

The guest lecture was attended enthusiastically by students enrolled in the Search Engine Optimization course. In her presentation, Ms. Marlin Silviana shared practical insights into consumer needs and behavior in the digital landscape, as well as an overview of workflows within the industry. The session was designed to help students evaluate digital marketing strategies utilizing SEO and SEM. The material was delivered in an interactive, two-way format, with Ms. Marlin occasionally engaging students through questions before elaborating on key concepts. The session emphasized not only theoretical understanding but also practical applications drawn from her professional experience.
The event continued with an interactive discussion session, during which students actively raised questions regarding the practical implementation of SEO and SEM in digital marketing. Rabu, 22 April 2026 – Program Studi Bisnis Digital Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) dengan sukses menyelenggarakan kuliah umum bertajuk “Innovation in the Digital Age: Adapting to New Trends in Marketing and SEO” Kegiatan ini berlangsung di Kampus UBM Ancol dan menghadirkan Marlin Silviana, Head of Marketing Technology PT. Erajaya Swasembada, Tbk, sebagai narasumber utama.
Sesi kuliah umum ini diikuti dengan antusias oleh mahasiswa yang menempuh mata kuliah Search Engine Optimization. Dalam pemaparannya, Ibu Marlin Silviana membagikan pengalaman praktik mengenai kebutuhan dan perilaku konsumen di dunia digital serta gambaran alur kerja di industri. Pemaparan ini diberikan agar mahasiswa dapat menilai strategi pemasaran digital menggunakan SEO dan SEM. Pemaparan materi dilakukan secara dua arah atau interaktif, Ibu Marlin sesekali bertanya kepada mahasiswa sebelum menyampaikan materi. Materi yang disampaikan tidak hanya secara teori namun Ibu Marlin juga menyampaikan praktek kerja melalui pengalamannya.
Kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan sesi diskusi interaktif, dimana mahasiswa aktif mengajukan pertanyaan seputar praktik SEO dan SEM dalam pemasaran digital. Partisipasi ini menunjukkan ketertarikan besar mahasiswa untuk memperdalam pengetahuan praktis di bidang pemasaran digital.
Kegiatan kuliah umum ini diharapkan dapat menjadi jembatan antara dunia akademik dan industri, sekaligus memperkuat kesiapan mahasiswa dalam menghadapi dinamika pemasaran digital yang terus berkembang. Melalui wawasan praktis dan pengalaman yang dibagikan, mahasiswa diharapkan mampu mengembangkan strategi yang adaptif, kreatif, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan industri.
