[Release] Coaching Clinic with Ruang Guru – “Bimbingan Kesiapan Kerja”

The Alumni & Career Center Department of Bunda Mulia University has partnered with PT. Ruang Raya Indonesia (Teacher Room) to organize an online Work Readiness Guidance Program. The program aims to assist participants in improving their soft skills and preparing them for their first job or a better job. The program runs for 2 months and is designed to create superior-quality graduates who are competitive in the job market. The series of Job Readiness Guidance Programs began with onboarding activities on June 24 2023 and was opened directly by the Head of Impact, Public Policy & Government Relations Ruang Guru, namely Mr. Gautama Adi Kusuma. The program will be implemented in the period June – August 2023 with a total of 26 participants.

The program has achieved notable success in participant engagement through access to the Skill Academy application, webinars, and discussions via WhatsApp/Gmeet, as well as achieving a 65.69% rate of effective counseling. The application’s module completion rate is considered quite good, averaging at 58%. In addition, the program’s self-perception survey conducted at the beginning and end showed a significant increase in various aspects such as Personal Exploration, Interviewing, Networking, and Job Searching.

As a gesture of appreciation for the participants, Ruang Guru awards those who meet the adjusted assessment standards. Steffi and Yonatan were among the recipients, recognized for their exceptional participation and earning the titles of Participant of the Month and 2nd and 3rd best participants in the program, respectively.

This program offers participants valuable insights into the industry, provides opportunities for networking, and ultimately helps them secure their desired career path. It’s no wonder that participants welcome this program with optimism and enthusiasm – the soft skills gained through this program add value and help them compete in the industrial world, opening up many opportunities and paving the way to a successful future.
