[Release] Coaching Clinic “Internship Toolkit: Practical Skills and Knowledge for a Thriving Internship”

On June 4th, 2024, the Alumni & Career Center Department collaborated with Movenpick Hotel Jakarta City Centre to organize a coaching clinic activity titled “Internship Toolkit: Practical Skills and Knowledge for a Thriving Internship.” The event featured Mrs. Moriza Sihotang, Learning and Development Manager at Movenpick Hotel Jakarta City Centre, as a speaker, aiming to enlighten students preparing for internships. This initiative demonstrated the university and company’s commitment to preparing students for the professional world.

At the event, Mrs. Moriza gave a detailed overview of the key elements that students should consider and plan for prior to commencing an internship. She outlined strategies for navigating the application and selection process, as well as preparing for the internship experience. This encompassed developing strong professional values, adjusting to a new workplace, recognizing potential obstacles and effective problem-solving techniques, and gaining insight into the overall internship journey.

After the coaching clinic, it’s clear that students gained valuable insights into the internship process and developed the skills needed to succeed in a professional work environment. The collaboration between the Alumni & Career Center Department and Movenpick Hotel Jakarta City Centre has truly established a benchmark for preparing students for the realities of the working world, showcasing a strong dedication to cultivating the future workforce.
