The Alumni Career Center of Bunda Mulia University successfully organized an industrial visit to the OPPO Indonesia factory in South Tangerang on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. The visit was exclusively tailored for students enrolled in the Data Science, Information Systems, and Informatics Study Programs. The primary objectives of the visit were to provide students with practical insights into the industry relevant to their study programs and to facilitate the acquisition of essential skills for their future careers.

It was a priceless and extraordinary experience to tour the OPPO factory while receiving knowledge regarding the creation and production of the device. The students were exposed to the Micro-drop Test room as they were informed about the resilience testing of OPPO devices. Straightly, the students were guided to the production room of OPPO and shown how OPPO devices were made. Following the industry tour, the students were led to a seminar room. They enjoyed an enlightening lecture by the talented speaker Risqi Hasan, discussing OPPO’s development over the years. Before focusing on making smartphones, OPPO manufactured MP3 players, portable media players, LCD TVs, eBook readers, DVD players, and disc players.  The seminar went well and closed with the handover of Tokens of Appreciation to the OPPO party.

Furthermore, besides allowing students to get hands-on experience from the real industrial world that assuredly correlates with their study program, this industrial visit displays Bunda Mulia University’s commitment to providing the students with the latest information about the industrial world as it demonstrates the University’s dedication in equipping students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in their future careers.
