Jakarta, March 21, 2025 – Alumni & Career Center Department, in collaboration with the Digital Business Study Program at Kampus Ancol, organized an industrial visit to PT Wook Global Technology, is the first e-commerce company that is building a platform which combines the concept of B2B (Business to Business) and O2O (online to offline) in Indonesia. This initiative aimed to provide Biemers with deeper insights into digital transformation within the e-commerce industry, enhancing their understanding of business strategies, digital marketing, and the evolving digital retail landscape in Indonesia.

Upon arrival at PT Wook at 1:00 PM (WIB), students were welcomed to the conference room, where the event commenced with an ice-breaking session. This interactive activity helped foster a dynamic and engaging learning environment before transitioning into the main presentation sessions.

The presentation session was divided into two segments. The first session, led by Ms. Rosita, the HR & GA Director of PT Wook, provided an overview of the company profile, its portfolio of brands, and its sales and marketing strategies. She elaborated on PT Wook’s transition from a B2B (Business-to-Business) model to direct consumer sales through various e-commerce platforms, highlighting the company’s adaptability in the digital era.

In the second session, Mr. Yeremia C. Sihombing, the Country Digital Manager of PT Wook, presented insights into digital marketing strategies. He discussed key techniques for capturing consumer attention through social media advertisements, public banners, and content marketing to enhance engagement. This session was highly interactive, with a Q&A segment that encouraged students to actively engage in discussions and gain deeper insights into real-world digital marketing practices.

Following the presentations, Mr. Julius Sutrisno, B.Sc., S.T., M.M., a faculty member from the Digital Business Study Program, presented Ms. Rosita with a token of appreciation (ToA) on behalf of the academic delegation. The visit continued with an office tour, where students explored various departments within PT Wook and were introduced to the company’s diverse product offerings, ranging from electronic devices to household and gaming products.

This industrial visit provided invaluable exposure to the digital business landscape, equipping students with practical knowledge in branding, sales strategies, and digital marketing techniques. By interacting directly with industry professionals, students gained first-hand insights that will be instrumental in their academic pursuits and future careers.

Jakarta, 21 Maret 2025 – Departemen Alumni & Career Center bekerja sama dengan Program Studi Bisnis Digital Kampus Ancol menyelenggarakan kunjungan industri ke PT Wook Global Technology, yang merupakan perusahaan e-commerce pertama di Indonesia yang membangun platform dengan konsep B2B (Business to Business) dan O2O (online to offline). Inisiatif ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan yang lebih dalam mengenai transformasi digital dalam industri e-commerce, meningkatkan pemahaman mengenai strategi bisnis, pemasaran digital, dan lanskap ritel digital yang sedang berkembang di Indonesia.

Setibanya di PT Wook pada pukul 13.00 (WIB), para mahasiswa disambut di ruang konferensi, di mana acara dimulai dengan sesi ice breaking. Kegiatan interaktif ini membantu menumbuhkan lingkungan belajar yang dinamis dan menarik sebelum beralih ke sesi presentasi utama.

Sesi presentasi dibagi menjadi dua bagian. Sesi pertama, yang dipimpin oleh Ibu Rosita, Direktur HR & GA PT Wook, memberikan gambaran umum mengenai profil perusahaan, portofolio merek, serta strategi penjualan dan pemasaran. Beliau menguraikan transisi PT Wook dari model B2B (Business-to-Business) ke penjualan langsung ke konsumen melalui berbagai platform e-commerce, yang menyoroti kemampuan beradaptasi perusahaan di era digital.

Pada sesi kedua, Bapak Yeremia C. Sihombing, Country Digital Manager PT Wook, mempresentasikan wawasan tentang strategi pemasaran digital. Beliau membahas teknik-teknik utama untuk menarik perhatian konsumen melalui iklan media sosial, spanduk publik, dan pemasaran konten untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan. Sesi ini sangat interaktif, dengan segmen tanya jawab yang mendorong para mahasiswa untuk secara aktif terlibat dalam diskusi dan mendapatkan wawasan yang lebih dalam tentang praktik pemasaran digital di dunia nyata.

Setelah presentasi, Bapak Julius Sutrisno, B.Sc., S.T., M.M., dosen dari Program Studi Bisnis Digital, memberikan penghargaan (ToA) kepada Ibu Rosita atas nama delegasi akademik. Kunjungan dilanjutkan dengan tur kantor, dimana para mahasiswa menjelajahi berbagai departemen di dalam PT Wook dan diperkenalkan dengan penawaran produk perusahaan yang beragam, mulai dari perangkat elektronik hingga produk rumah tangga dan game.

Kunjungan industri ini memberikan paparan yang sangat berharga terhadap lanskap bisnis digital, membekali para mahasiswa dengan pengetahuan praktis dalam hal branding, strategi penjualan, dan teknik pemasaran digital. Dengan berinteraksi langsung dengan para profesional di industri, para mahasiswa mendapatkan wawasan langsung yang akan sangat berguna dalam kegiatan akademis dan karir mereka di masa depan.
