[Release] Leadership Training for Psychology Student Association “Unleash Your Organizational Skills”
On July 29th 2024, the Leadership Training for Psychology Student Association entitled “Unleash Your Organizational Skills” was held by the Bunda Mulia University Alumni & Career Center (ACC) together with the Psychology Study Program which took place on The UBM Library Hall, 7th floor in Alfa Tower.
Equipping students to become leaders who collaborate rather than compete and foster an understanding of our interconnectedness as humans is the core objective of this Leadership Training. It’s an honor to have Mr. Wahyudi Akbar Hartanto, the Head of the Learning and Development Division at PT. Kurnia Ciptamoda Gemilang, and Mrs. Vania Priskila, an alumnus of Bunda Mulia University and also a lecturer in the Psychology Study Program at Bunda Mulia University’s Ancol campus, to share their invaluable insights and expertise with the participants. The sessions were skillfully conducted, and the students were enlightened by the wisdom imparted.
The knowledge and skills discussed, such as self-assessment, identifying strengths and weaknesses, understanding one’s potential contributions to the organization, adopting a win-win mindset, and prioritizing understanding others before being understood, will undoubtedly improve students’ ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics within the student association. As they continue to cultivate these skills, they not only contribute to their personal growth but also to the collective success and cohesion of their organization.
The insightful Q&A sessions that followed each presentation gave Psychology students a valuable opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the shared professional tips and techniques. The event concluded with the speakers being presented with Tokens of Appreciation, followed by a group photo session. This Leadership Training exemplifies Bunda Mulia University’s commitment to providing students with the latest insights from experts, showcasing UBM’s dedication to bridging education with real-world applications.
