[Release] Seminar On “Language Learning Through Technology : Tips And Tricks”

The English Study Program, in conjunction with the Department Alumni Career Center, organized a highly informative seminar on the 24th of October, 2023. The seminar, “Language Learning through Technology: Tips and Tricks,” was held at The UBM Premiere Classroom, located on Ancol Campus. The event was graced by Mrs. Santhy Ria Kusnaeni, the Teacher Operations Manager, who delivered an insightful speech on the topic. The seminar witnessed a tremendous turnout, attracting 61 attendees from diverse study programs, including English, Communication Sciences, Hospitality & Tourism, and Psychology. Overall, it was an enriching experience for all the attendees, who gained valuable insights into the latest trends and best practices in language learning through technology.

The seminar started with a warm welcome from the MC, Seisilia Anolitha Koontud, who is an English student. She introduced the topic and set the stage for an informative session that would explore language learning platforms, with a focus on English. As the seminar progressed, Mrs. Santhy presented a wealth of knowledge and insights using various sources. The materials were engaging and thought-provoking, and participants were able to glean a lot of valuable information. Mrs. Santhy’s teaching style also contributed to the success of the seminar, as she made use of interactive games like Kahoot to keep everyone engaged and entertained. The session was not just informative, but also fun and interactive. Participants were allowed to apply their learnings in real time, which helped to reinforce the concepts and make the experience more memorable. With all questions answered, the Q&A session that followed was insightful and thought-provoking. Overall, it was a well-structured and informative seminar that was a valuable learning experience for all who attended.
