[Release] Soft Skills Training Kampus Serpong “Strategies for Career Opportunities : How to Achieve Success in The Industry”

On Saturday, November 25, 2023, the Alumni & Career Center (ACC) of Bunda Mulia University held a Soft Skills Training at The UBM Lecture Hall, 5th Floor, Alfa Tower from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This Soft Skills Training was attended by 193 students starting from semester 5. The training was divided into three sessions, each with a different speaker from a well-known company. The theme of the training was “Strategies for Career Opportunities: How to Achieve Success in the Industry.” The participants were active students from various programs, starting from semester 5. 

The event began with the playing of the Indonesian national anthem followed by the Bunda Mulia University anthem. Regina Dewi Hanifah, Manager of the Alumni & Career Center, delivered the opening speech. Asyharul Fityan, Head of Erajaya Corporate University, presented the first session on “Personal Branding: Using Personal Branding to Advance Your Career.” The session ended with a Q&A session where participants asked enthusiastic questions. Regina Dewi Hanifah then presented a token of appreciation to conclude the session. 

Andri Muharizal Putra, Head of Education at PT. MNC Sekuritas presented the second session entitled “Professional Networking: Building a Strong Professional Network.” In this session, Mr. Muharizal explained the importance of networking and shared tips for networking effectively. Again, Regina Dewi Hanifah presented a token of appreciation to conclude the session. After the first two sessions, the Biefindc student organization performed a modern dance on the main stage. The third session was presented by Juli Marianto, the Director of Human Capital and Development, Sari Pacific Jakarta. The topic of his session was “Career Growth Strategies: Achieving Career Goals, Career Growth.” In this session, Mr. Marianto explained how students can develop their careers. The session concluded with a question-and-answer session and a token of appreciation presented by Regina Dewi Hanifah. Before the training concluded, three students who asked the best questions were awarded prizes. The participants then completed a pre-registration form provided by the ACC.

The Alumni & Career Center expresses sincere gratitude to the three speakers for their invaluable contribution to the soft skills training program. The objective of this program was to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their professional lives. The soft skills training event aimed to enhance students’ proficiency and self-assurance in networking and personal branding, preparing them for the industrial workforce with ease and empowering them to attain success in their careers. Mastering soft skills will facilitate students’ seamless adaptation to the work environment, efficient communication, and effective time and task management. This will provide a strong foundation for professional development and achievement. The Alumni & Career Center acknowledges the speakers for their commitment to the development of our students and their dedication to the growth and advancement of the workforce.
