Workshop:  “Communication Skills”

Jakarta, Indonesia – On February 15th, 2024, Bunda Mulia University hosted a Communication Skills Workshop focused on Professional Basic Communication Skills. The workshop was organized by the Human Resources Department of the university and was aimed at inspiring participants to recognize the importance of communication skills at the workplace. The event was attended by representatives from the Department of Alumni and Career Center, including Jessica Yoana and Sally Suwandy. The workshop covered a range of topics, including effective communication, active listening, and building rapport with colleagues.

Participants in this activity were able to benefit from a character test that helped them identify their traits and characteristics. Mr. Surianto, S.I.Kom., M.I.Kom., provided insightful guidance as the speaker, emphasizing the importance of understanding both oneself and others in effective communication. By analyzing communication styles, participants were able to adapt their approach and ensure that their messages were conveyed clearly and effectively. This skill can lead to more productive and successful interactions, ultimately helping individuals achieve their goals with greater finesse and ease.

In addition to the above, participants were also equipped with an understanding of the correct way to send professional emails. This is a crucial aspect of effective communication in the workplace, and can greatly impact how one is perceived by colleagues and clients alike. By gaining this knowledge and applying it in their daily work, participants can further enhance their communication skills and take their performance to the next level.
