[Release] Studium Generale Building Collaborative Leadership in the Digital Era
On February 23rd, 2024, the Alumni & Career Center Department in partnership with the Hospitality & Tourism Study Program presented Studium Generale with the theme “Building Collaborative Leadership in the Digital Era”. This event took place at The UBM Premiere Classroom located on the 2nd floor of Bunda Mulia University Ancol Campus. The aim of this event was to equip students with invaluable insights and strategies for navigating the rapidly evolving hospitality and tourism landscape, particularly in the digital age.
The Studium Generale began with an inspiring welcome address from Mr. Antonius Rizki Krisnadi, SST.Par., M.Par, Head of the Hospitality and Tourism Study Program Ancol Campus. Following that, we were honored to introduce two brilliant resource persons: Mrs. Arie Paramitasari, Head of Human Resources at The Union Group, and Mr. Ikin Solikin, Training Manager of Gran Melia Jakarta. Mrs. Arie skillfully presented the key principles of good leadership, followed by an engaging Q&A session where students who asked questions could win prizes. After that, Mr. Rizki presented Mrs. Arie with a Token of Appreciation as a tribute to her exceptional knowledge and expertise. The next session featured Mr. Ikin’s insightful presentation, followed by an enthusiastic Q&A session where students could ask questions and engage in lively discussions. After Mr. Ikin’s presentation, Mr. Vishnuvardhana S. Soeprapto, BA., MA, Lecture of the Hospitality & Tourism Study Program presented him with a Token of Appreciation as a symbol of our gratitude for his invaluable contributions.
Finally, we concluded the Studium Generale with the ceremonial signing of the collaboration agreement between Bunda Mulia University and Gran Melia Jakarta, followed by a photo session involving students, resource persons, and lecturers. We are confident that this event provided students with the necessary skills to become successful leaders in the future.
